This time it’s in Switzerland, the reason? Street view! how long is it going to take for the morons and bone heads at google who dreamed up the concept of being an internet peeping tom to get it through their caveman like skulls that people don’t like the concept of not only themselves but their homes and children being photographed and posted on the internet.

The BBC is reporting that the swiss data protection commissioner Hanspeter Thuer is asking the Swiss courts to order the immediate removal of all Swiss images from street view until a judgement is handed down on the issue.

Caution: Critical comments ahead!

I have come to the conclusion that postal workers strikes make some of ebay’s sellers outright dishonest and lazy.

Just the mention of a possible strike is enough to have my inbox bombarded with messages from some sellers stating that they simply “cannot post an item because i might not get it”

What kind of muppet do these idiots think i am? do they believe that somewhere in the heart of every sorting office there is a mail munching troll that eats mail posted in the run up to/or during a strike?

That said, i have also had some of the most speedy deliveries during these strikes as well.. either the management are really pulling out the stops or support for the strikes has not been as strong as claimed.

Having had enough i replied very abruptly to one such work shy lackey, pointing out that if they got off their lead laden arse and posted the item first class as i had paid for, given that the strikes were not due to start for another 4 days i would receive it before any disruption started.

Guess what happened… It arrived in the post next day!

Goals or Goons?
Posted by admin in The World as we know it. on 10 25th, 2009| | No Comments »

Having recently attended a Goals (Gaining Opportunities And Life Skills) course, which is touted as being a motivational course i have to say, i have never heard so much verbal diarrhea trotted out and represented as fact as i did during those two totally wasted days of woolly hat, politically correct crap and attitude.

Put it this way, If i had paid for that course myself.. i would be suing to get my money back.

Need motivation? My advice is go ask your boss for a pay rise in the middle of a recession… If the response doesn’t give you motivation then nothing will.

France Banning the Burka?
Posted by admin in World Politics on 08 18th, 2009| | No Comments »

French MP’s are currently holding a series of hearings surrounding the future of the Burka in the country. The Muslim garment has been a flashpoint issue in many countries recently including here in the UK because it covers all a womans facial features except her eyes.

Many have called for it to be banned on a variety of grounds ranging from security issues to the fact that it represents the oppression of women.

French Urban Regeneration Minister Fadela Amara has been quoted as saying that she:

“in favour of the burka not existing in my country”.

Muslim Headscarf

The French government created the comittee after French President Nicolas Sarkozy stated that the garment was “not welcome” in France, which is home to Western Europe’s largest population of Muslims.

In 2004, France controversially banned Muslim headscarves and other “conspicuous” religious symbols in state schools and by public employees.

Stuart Feltham has started what appears to be a big climb down over his allegations. Feltham 20, fled greece just before he was due to give evidence and amid celebrations amongst locals that Miss Fanouraki 26, had in fact filed charges of sexual assault against him.

Having arrived back in the UK he is now saying in an interview with his local paper the swindon advertiser that he’s too scared to return to greece to give evidence, and that his legal bills having topped £2000 are going too high. He goes on to proclaim himself to be a “good lad” and moans that it feels like the whole country has turned against him here as well as in greece.

Too scared to give evidence, or too scared the ALL the evidence doesn’t back  up his version of events i wonder?

I have a feeling Mr Feltham will slide discreetly from the limelight and carry on learning the trade of plumbing, hopefully a little wiser about alcohol, women, personal conduct and foreign bars.

Monroe College
27 year old New York’er Trina Thompson has filed a lawsuit against Monroe College where she studied and attained a Bachelors Degree in Information Technology.

She is claiming that the college has not lived up to promises to assist graduates find work and is trying to recover the £42,000 ($70,000) she spent on tuition fee’s.

The BBC has quoted a college spokesman as saying:

“The college prides itself on the excellent career-development support that we provide to each of our students, and this case does not deserve further consideration,”

Personally i’m wondering at the moment what planet this woman is living on.. she paid for tuition with the ambition of achieving a degree. Last time i checked it was still a graduates responsibility to actually find a job once study was completed. ‘helping’ and ‘offering advice’ do not constitute a promise of never ending support and job interviews.

Unfortunately this seems to be another case of a modern human feeling it’s aways someone else’s job to do everything for them.

As for trying to claim all the tuition fee’s back because she is not able to get a job… that’s just infantile and laughable.

It seems things are hotting up over the allegations that Stuart Feltham has been making about being ’set on fire’ while apparently behaving like a saint on his last night on the Island of Crete with a bunch of his mates. Greek girl Maria Fanoudaki has filed charges against him! alleging sexual assault, molestation and personal insults according to the telegraph.

Has this called Stuart Feltham’s bluff? Will he be exposed as another drunken yob trying it on with a local girl while his girlfriend was here waiting for him in the UK?

Feltham fled Crete apparently  ‘fearing for his life’ according to his father as Greek nationals have taken to the streets in support of Ms Fanoudaki and protesting about the behaviour of British tourists in the resorts on the island.

Stuart Feltham arrived back in the UK at the weekend still claiming Maria Fanoudaki launched an unprovoked attack on him in the Electra Bar in Crete’s Malia resort. The resort is renowned for the sexual antics of British tourists.

The trial of 26 year old Greek student Maria Fanoudaki, Has been adjourned until 17th August.. while Stuart Feltham flies home to gather evidence????

“I asked for the postponement of the case as Mr Feltham had to return to England for medical matters and to return to his family and also to gather more evidence in collaboration with his father.”

George Koundourakis, Stuart Feltams Lawyer

Speaking from hospital, Mr Feltham told the Daily Telegraph he was subjected to an “unprovoked attack”.

Unfortunately for Mr Feltham the Greek public are saying otherwise, and SKY news is reporting that Stuart Feltham has fled Greece fearing for his life and his father as saying once again that reports that his son was behaving in anyway indecently were “absolute nonsense”.

anonymous reports cite the Greek police as saying Stuart Feltham was ‘waving his genitals in the air’ at passing females prior to the alleged attack.

Crete, Shagging destination of EuropeWhile reading the paper at the breakfast table this morning i found myself shaking my head in total dis-belief. Why? well basically 23year old student Stuart Feltham was set on fire in a bar on the island of Crete after allegedly sexually assaulting a greek girl, and his parents seem completely obsessed with the concept that ‘their son’ can do no wrong.

The Greek islands have a reputation and a well deserved one at that… in my experience, they are the shagging shop of the mediterranean.

Their are only two reasons folk go there, to consume copious amounts of alcohol and indulge in (well they hope anyway) non stop shagging.

Every summer European girls return home from a ‘holiday’ there pregnant in numbers unrivalled by any other holiday destination, Every year boys and girls return home with all manner of sexually transmitted diseases that they didn’t have when they went again in unrivalled numbers, and all too often a huge grin on their faces.

Now, i’m not saying people should be banned from going to the Greek islands at all.. but i do think the parents of these ‘holidaymakers’ seriously need to wake up and smell the coffee. The odds are your kids are going out there to get constantly drunk and get laid as many times as possible in the week or fortnight!

If, and it is a big IF in my opinion Ian Feltham was ’set on fire’, that’s awful.. BUT, I’m more inclined to actually believe the girls account of events having ‘holidayed’ in the Greek islands myself. Maria Fanoudaki a 26 year old student says Stuart Feltham sexually assaulted her, she threw her drink over him and left. It’s not a huge leap of faith to see a situation of  Stuart Feltham, having had the drink thrown over him standing in what will have been a packed bar in the height of the holiday season, with his mates in an alcohol soaked shirt, and maybe a cigarette came into contact with his shirt and ignited it.

His parents however are claiming that their son was standing in a bar and someone threw accelerant over him for no reason and set fire to him…

Oh please!… do you even know how idiotic you look to anyone who has ever been to the Greek islands on holiday?….. and for the record that’s probably 40-50% of anyone aged under 40.

Just take off the rose tinted glasses, and accept your son was getting drunk and probably trying it on with and anything in a skirt that possessed a pulse… just like every other guy would have been in that bar!
